ITINERARY:

Day 1:

Meet at Spotted Grunter Resort in Port st Johns around 11 am to start our first hike from the resort to the airstrip. Scenic viewing points along the way. We are met with cocktails at the highest point of the hike and the best views Port st Johns has to offer. We transit by vehicle back to Spotted Grunter Resort where we enjoy a 3 course meal followed by drinks in the pub.

Day 2:

After a buffet breakfast we board a 8m supa duck and experience an adrenaline filled surf launch through the Umzimvubu River mouth and into the Indian Ocean. We will be entertained by whales and dolphins while we make our way to Waterfall Bluff, 30km away. Here we witness one of the very few waterfalls worldwide that flows directly into the ocean. To see it from the land is one thing but to see it from the ocean is spectacular! We make our way back to Manteku where you are dropped off in the shallow surf to start your second hike of approximately 10km, to Ntafufu. Upon arrival at Ntafufu you are ferried across the Ntafufu estuary by canoe to be met by cocktails and snacks, taking in the beauty Ntafufu has to offer. We spend the night at BeachCamp@Ntafufu after enjoying another scrumptious 3 course meal.

Day 3:

We rise early for breakfast and thereafter start our canoe paddle up the pristine Ntafufu estuary, approximately 5km. We are met with coffee and rusks before we head off on our 3rd hike of approximately 7km, through the natural forests of Ntafufu. A bird watchers paradise. We make our way back to BeachCamp@Ntafufu for another dinner and well desrerved rest!

Day 4:

We have breakfast and start our hike which takes us back to Port st Johns. Approximately 12 km hike along the beautiful costline. We enjoy a packed lunch in a cave and visit one of the most favorite fishing spots South Africa has to offer, Poenskop. We are met by vehicles after our hike and travel back to Spotted Grunter Resort where we have our last dinner followed by pool and drinks in the Anglers Arms Pub.

Day 5:

After a hearty breakfast, we leave for home, with our hearts full.
